Christmas Trees will be the ‘Star’ attraction from next week as towns and cities across the world carry out the formal ‘Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony’

Aberdeen – Castlegate (last night 27 November)
London – Trafalgar Square, Thursday 4 December
New York – The Rockefeller Centre, Wednesday 3 December
Washington – The White House, Thursday 4 December
Amsterdam – Dam Square, Sunday 7 December
Rome – Intersection of Court & James Streets, Friday 5 December
(cities such as Cardiff; Edinburgh; Belfast; Berlin, Chicago; Paris all turned their lights on in November)
